Great Falls - September 2009

The water was high during my visit at the end of September.

The light was changing as fast as the clouds. It was so beautiful when this plume of light glanced through and landed just on the river's center. It only lasted for a couple of minutes but it was magical.

The air smelled like the coming spring instead of the impending fall. You can see more photos on flickr as I upload them. I look forward to a slower day when I will have a chance to spend more time with photos from this day.
