Life Pieces to Masterpieces - On Location Studio

Lifepieces is a wonderful afterschool program in Northeast DC.  It has stood the test of time, now entering it's 15th year, an eternity in an environment where programs come and go.  While started by three amazing people, Mary Brown has been their constant (she is pictured in the bottom left) and is nothing short of heroic in her efforts to enrich the lives of the boys that come through the program. The same, in fact, can be said of many of the dedicated staff and a few of them came out of the program and are now mentoring the next generation.

Ms. Brown was just recently named as a "Washingtonian of the Year" by Washingtonian Magazine.
