A day at the ballpark

One of my son's friends had his birthday party at a minor league baseball game last month.  It was a great fun and also an opportunity to get closer to the action than I could every afford at a major league game.  The best shots were naturally of a baby "reading" in the stands and stealing the show. Baseball is wonderful live; the field, the traditions, the theater that comes with a sport that has so much down time within spurts of intensity.  There is so much put into each pitch with the possibility of everything happening, or nothing at all.  The big leagues are great but there is so much more fun attached to the games at the minor league level, can't wait to go back.
